Emmanuel Rivas Valenzuela is a multimedia journalist for KFOX14/CBS4 and a senior at UTEP majoring in multimedia journalism with minors in political science, English, and Chicano studies. Originally from Cd. Juárez and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, he has written for Minero Magazine and The Prospector, served as editor-in-chief, and gained experience through internships with McClatchy, El Paso Matters, and KERA.

Tarrant County Election Integrity Task Force reports 82 voter fraud complaints, no cases filed

The Tarrant County Election Integrity Task Force received 82 complaints of alleged voter fraud over the past 15 months. In that time, zero charges have been filed.

That's according to County Administrator Chandler Merritt, who spoke at Tuesday’s Tarrant County Commissioner’s Court meeting.

More than 100 years of El Paso, Juárez music showcased in exhibit

Over the years, musicians across El Paso and Ciudad Juárez have used their songs to reflect on the culture of the border or the political and social turmoil of a given era.

The El Paso Museum of History captures these moments in Borderland music history in its newest exhibit, “Musica in Fronteras: Twentieth Century to Now.”

What started as a run-of-the-mill race for the El Paso County Criminal Court at Law No. 1 judicial seat turned heated when a picture began circulating of one of the candidates, appointed Judge Linda Perez, at a Donald Trump rally in 2019.
